This generator suggests hashtags for your video and checks each one against the hashtags on videos trending in the country you pick, so you can see which are in real use this week and which are guesses. The first three hashtags are the ones YouTube shows above your title, so the order the list comes back in matters.
How to use it

Limits you should know about
- Hashtags are read from the titles and descriptions of trending videos, because YouTube has no hashtag field in its API.
- YouTube ignores everything past the first 15 hashtags on a video and may remove all of them if you exceed that.
- Coverage is eight countries and a few hundred videos per country per day, so a niche hashtag can be useful and still show as untested.
- AI suggestions need an AI provider configured; the index-derived hashtags work without one.
Questions people ask
How many hashtags should I put on a YouTube video?
Fifteen is the hard limit — go over it and YouTube may strip every hashtag from the video. Three is the practical number, because only the first three appear above your title.
Where do the usage numbers come from?
From the titles and descriptions of videos on the Trending chart in the country you selected, over the last seven days. The count is distinct videos, not appearances.
Do hashtags help a video get views?
They mainly help viewers browse a topic, and the top three act as visible category labels above your title. They are not a substitute for a title that says what the video is.
Why do the results change between countries?
Because they are measured, not generated from a static list. #shorts is near-universal, but almost everything below it is local.
Can I use the same hashtags on every video?
You can, and many channels do for their brand hashtag. Repeating a generic set on unrelated videos gives YouTube contradictory signals and gives viewers nothing.
