What creators in eight countries are actually tagging their videos with, rebuilt every day.
Every day this site asks the YouTube Data API for the most popular videos in each country below, reads the tags off each one, pulls the #hashtags out of the titles and descriptions, and counts what it finds. The result is a picture of the tag vocabulary that is working this week in that country — not a keyword tool's estimate, and not a number that was true two years ago.
Pick a country to see its top 100 tags, top 50 hashtags, title patterns and the channels appearing most often. Every page has a CSV download and a free JSON endpoint. How it is built is written up in the methodology.
